FAQs

  • What is your fee?

Standard individual sessions are $125/50 minutes. Adults also have the option to meet at $200/80 minutes.

Couple’s sessions are $150/50 minutes and $240/80 minutes.

Several sliding scale options (reduced fees) are available under certain qualifying circumstances.

  • Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?

We offer both virtual sessions on a secure platform and a limited number of in-person sessions. Please inquire if interested.

  • How often will we meet?

50-minute weekly sessions are standard for therapy, but accommodations can be made to meet your specific needs.

  • How do we start?

We offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation at your convenience to assess needs and if we are a good fit. If we are a good fit, we can schedule a standing 50-minute weekly session or an agreed- upon arrangement.

  • What happens in the first session following a consultation?

In our first session, we’ll start by establishing a foundation of trust and understanding. If the client is under 18, I’ll meet with both the child and a parent to discuss essential policies and procedures, including confidentiality, and outline how we’ll involve parents in future sessions. From there, sessions will primarily focus on one-on-one work with the child. For clients 18 and older, we’ll use this initial meeting to review key policies, discuss confidentiality, and begin to build a rapport. Moving forward, each session is customized to meet your unique needs, potentially incorporating expressive arts like clay, painting, movement, music, sand tray, mindfulness, or talk therapy to support your journey.

  • Do you take insurance?

Archway Healing PLLC accepts private pay. While we do not accept insurance directly, we have partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits. Mentaya may be a good fit for you if you:

    • Have out-of-network benefits

    • Feel overwhelmed by superbills and insurance

    • Have submitted superbills but failed to get any reimbursement

    • Simply want to skip the hassle of paperwork.

Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies.

Mentaya is risk-free: They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or issue a full refund of (Mentaya’s) fees. Feel free to inquire for more details.

*Kindly note that Archway Healing cannot gaurantee that you will receive out-of-network benefits from this third party service.

  • What can I expect from therapy?

At Archway Healing, you can expect a compassionate and personalized approach to therapy. Our sessions are interactive and engaging, focusing on building resilience, practical skills, insight, and personal growth. Whether you’re dealing with loss, trauma, or life transitions, we’re here to support you in living a more intentional, peaceful, and grounded life.

  • What is Eidetic Imaging?

Eidetic Imaging is a mind-body-emotion systems approach to therapy that produces profound and lifelong results. Natalie Collazo is co-chair and vice president of marketing and community at The Eidetic Institute where she works closely with Dr. Swafford who is an expert in the field of Eidetics.

  • How long are sessions?

A standard therapy session is 50 minutes conducted weekly. Certain adjustments can be made to meet your specific needs if appropriate (e.g., every other week, 80-minute sessions, etc.).

  • What is your cancelation policy?

We kindly require 24-hour notice for cancelations to avoid the cancellation fee, which is the full rate.

  • What theoretical approaches do you use?

Our approach is humanistic, holistic, mind-body oriented, integrating Eidetic Imaging, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems techniques (IFS), Narrative Therapy, expressive arts, and existential practices. We incorporate play therapy techniques when developmentally appropriate. This includes Oaklander’s sand tray methods including virtual sand trays in telehealth. During our sessions, we tailor our approach to your unique needs. DBT brings mindfulness and coping skills, IFS acknowledges and addresses the diverse "parts" within us, existential practices explore the depths of the psyche, Narrative Therapy empowers you as the storyteller of your life, and Eidetic Imaging taps into the poetic essence of your soul.

  • What are your credentials?

Natalie has received a master’s degree in childhood education, a master’s degree in counseling through a CACREP program, passed the NCE examination, is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and is a Licenced Professional Counselor- Associate (LPC-A) which means that she is provisionally licensed in Texas under the supervision of a board-certified supervisor (Katelyn Williams, MA, LPC-S, RPT-S, NCC).

Natalie has completed Level 1 Training in Eidetic Imaging and Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (currently working towards completing Level 2).

  • Are there any presenting problems that you do not work with?

We do not conduct child custody evaluations nor do we provide custody recommendations. We also do not offer treatment for eating disorders due to the necessary medical intervention, or psychotic disorders that are not being treated medically (e.g., schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, etc). We are happy to provide referrals if you need them. These are just a few examples. Please give us a call to see if we are a good fit.

  • Can I do telehealth if I do not live in Texas?

No, due to state licensing laws, we can only provide therapy and counseling to individuals residing in Texas. This includes telehealth services.

  • How do you engage in your own growth as a therapist?

It is vital for therapists to “do their own work.” At Archway Healing, we have high standards of fostering integrity emphasizing personal and professional growth and standards. For Natalie, this includes a dedicated mind-body-soul approach to self-care including running, meditation, and intentionality in living. Natalie also regularly consults with experts in the field, is diligent about understanding her journey and how that has influenced her worldview, and participates in a focused Eidetic practice.
